6th Grade artists showed off their colored pencil skills in the annual “WHO TAKES THE CAKE” contest.
Each student in the two 6th grade art classes first quarter worked very hard to create an original cupcake themed creation. Jackson staff members then voted for their top 4 choices in each class (for a total of 8 cupcakes). All cupcakes were displayed on bulletin boards outside the art room and voting took place from 9/13 to 9/17. This year it was a very tough decision. Jackson art teacher Ms. Challenger said, “This could quite possibly be one of the best batches of cupcakes I have seen. Victory will be sweet for the winners!” Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!
