On May 21, eighth graders from Jackson Middle School celebrated their promotion at a ceremony held at Willowbrook High School.
In her speech to classmates, Jackson eighth grader Tessa Burritt said: “Congratulations, we did it! It’s time to leave the middle school building behind, but we should take with us the joys and lessons we’ve all shared. Together, we are an astonishing class of students, ready to step into freshman year and grow up to be amazing people.”
